Útgarðr (2026-?)
Útgarðr takes its name from an Old Norse word often understood as "beyond the enclosure." Inspired by that idea rather than its mythology, the series explores the quiet boundaries we construct around our lives - those that offer certainty while quietly limiting possibility.
A solitary wooden box is placed within untamed landscapes, becoming a recurring presence rather than an explanation. Each photograph invites the viewer to consider the relationship between containment and freedom, certainty and the unknown, while leaving the meaning intentionally unresolved.
The work is not about the box itself, but about the space beyond it.
